Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive at Delhi

Arrive at Delhi, you will receive a warm welcome at the International Airport by our representative and will be transferred to hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 2: Delhi - Agra tour, Taj mahal , Agra Fort

After breakfast, drive to Agra. On arrival in Agra, transfer to hotel. Afternoon visit Taj Mahal (Friday closed), described as the most extravagant monument ever built for love, it was constructed by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan as a memorial to his queen Mumtaz Mahal, made out of white marble and took 22 years to complete. Later visit Agra Fort, construction of the massive red sandstone was begun by Emperor Akbar in 1565, though additions were made up until the rule of his grandson, Shah Jahan. It is an imposing structure with walls of red sandstone almost three kilometres long. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 3: Agra – Fatehpur sikri – Jaipur drive

After breakfast, drive to Jaipur en route visiting Fatehpur Sikri - 40 kilometres southwest of Agra, this magnificent fortified ghost city was constructed by Akbar in 1659 to honour the Chisti Saint, Sheikh Salim, who foretold the birth of Akbar's son, Jahangir. The city is a combination of Hindu and Persian architecture, and is in a remarkable state of preservation. On arrival Jaipur, transfer to hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 4: Amer fort, Rajasthani fort Palace, Amber fort, Hawa mahal

After breakfast, visit Amer Fort. Amber is a classic, romantic Rajasthani Fort Palace. Inside the Fort, visit the Jag Mandir or the Hall of Victory, famed Sheesh Mahal - a room with all the four walls and ceiling completely embedded with glittering mirror pieces. Jeep ride at Amber Fort. Enroute to Amber Fort, you will have a brief photography stop at Hawa Mahal - the Palace of Winds. Afternoon visit Pink City including Maharaja's city Palace, the former Royal residence part of it converted into a museum. One of the major attractions in the museum is the portion known as Armoury Museum housing an impressive array of weaponry-pistols. Later visit the Jantar-Mantar, which is the largest stone and marble crafted observatory in the world. Situated near the gate of the city palace, the observatory has 17 large instruments, many of them still in working condition. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 5: Jaipur – Pushkar tour 

After breakfast drive to Pushkar, on arrival transfer to hotel. Pushkar is a sacred town for the Hindus, situated 11 Kms to the North-West of Ajmer. Evidence points to its having existed during the Fourth century B.C. Lake in the inhospitable surroundings of a desert is no less than a miracle. It is a peaceful town of lakes and temples. It is also the region’s central cattle market. Pushkar, being a Hindu pilgrimage centre, is a vegetarian town. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 6: Pushkar – Delhi transfer

Enjoy your free Breakfast at hotel. Check-out and transfer to Ajmer railway station to board the train for Delhi. Meeting & assistance on arrival and transfer to hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 7: Delhi City tour, Raj ghat, Red fort ,and Chandni Chowk , India Gate

After breakfast, visit Raj Ghat, - memorial to Mahatma Gandhi & Jama Masjid - the largest mosque in India. Drive past Red Fort - a marvel in red sandstone (Closed on Mondays) and Chandni Chowk – an opulence market of perfumes. Later visit India Gate (memorial to the Indian army soldiers who died in` the World War I) and drive past Rashtrapati Bhawan (formerly the viceroy's residence) and the Parliament House. Also visit Humanyun's Tomb & the 12th century Qutab Minar, gracefully hand-carved for its entire height of 234ft, and the iron pillar, which has withstood the ravages of time and not rusted even after 1500 years. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 8: Delhi – Departure

Have your Breakfast at hotel. Check out by noon. Later transfer to the airport to board the flight for onward destination.
